Full-Time - Engineering - Bengaluru

Experience: 3-6 years

Qualification: Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Any relevant QA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites covering regression, smoke, and integration scenarios.
- Audit existing manual test cases and systematically convert high-value ones into reliable automated equivalents.
- Champion shift-left testing - integrate QA gates into CI/CD pipelines so every PR is validated before merge.
- Define and track QA KPIs (coverage %, flakiness rate, automation ratio) and report progress to the team.
- Collaborate with developers during sprint planning to write clear, testable acceptance criteria.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on production bugs and strengthen test coverage based on findings.
- Evaluate and introduce testing tools and frameworks that improve velocity - tool choice follows the problem, not habit.
- Mentor junior QA members and grow a culture of quality ownership across the engineering org.

Requirements

- 3+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in a product-focused environment.
- Solid proficiency with at least one modern automation framework - Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Comfortable writing tests in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java - you use what fits best.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).




- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
- Familiar with test management and bug tracking workflows (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset - you think in edge cases and failure modes, not just happy paths.
- Tenacious problem-solver: intermittent failures and hard-to-reproduce bugs don't discourage you - they interest you.
- Clear communicator who can bridge QA, engineering, and product without jargon.

Nice to Have

- Experience with performance or load testing (k6, Locust, JMeter).
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Exposure to mobile testing (Appium, Detox).
- Experience in ecommerce or high-traffic consumer platforms.
