Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and Dashboard Development, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into meaningful reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.

Experience working with Hive, Impala, HDFS, SFTP-based data feeds, and Hadoop/Cloudera environments is highly preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable interacting with large-scale enterprise data platforms and building optimized reporting solutions. The candidate should also be comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot to improve productivity, reporting development, documentation, and analytics workflows.

The candidate must have hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Service, Gateway,



and Report Builder, along with robust SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and query optimization.

Experience integrating data from Hive, Impala, HDFS, SFTP, Parquet, CSV, and Hadoop/Cloudera environments is required.

Key responsibilities include report performance tuning, dataset optimization, incremental refresh implementation, RLS management, troubleshooting data and connectivity issues, and collaborating with business, analytics, and data engineering teams.

Experience using AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude for DAX, SQL, automation, and productivity enhancement is highly desirable.

Exposure to PowerShell, deployment automation, Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Cognos is an added advantage.

Robust communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
