Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Finance Manager to lead and oversee all financial operations, project accounting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and reporting functions of the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial management within a construction/project-based workplace and drive financial planning, governance, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Accounts Payable (A/P) analysis.
- Generate MIS reports and management reports for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.

2. Project Accounting & Cost Control

- Monitor project budgets versus actual project costs across ongoing construction projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to track expenses and maintain project profitability.
- Identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Perform project-wise profitability and variance analysis.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

- Prepare annual operating budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial performance analysis and provide recommendations.
- Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Support strategic business planning initiatives.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

- Manage vendor payments, subcontractor billing, and customer invoicing.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain receivable aging reports.




- Perform vendor/customer reconciliation and payment monitoring.

5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

- Monitor and manage company cash flow across multiple projects.
- Handle fund planning, working capital optimization, and banking relationships.
- Coordinate with banks regarding facilities, documentation, and financial requirements.
- Ensure adequate liquidity to support operational activities.

6. Compliance, Taxation & Audit

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory regulations.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and returns.
- Maintain regulatory documentation and support statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants for audits and special assignments.

7. Internal Controls & Governance

- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
- Ensure adherence to finance policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits and close audit observations effectively.
- Contribute to financial organization development and process improvements.

8. Strategic & Management Support

- Develop finance policies and operational procedures where required.
- Provide financial insights to management for business decisions.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by management.

Required Qualifications

- CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in Construction / Infrastructure / EPC industry.
- Strong knowledge of Project Accounting, Budgeting, Taxation, Treasury, MIS Reporting, GST, TDS, Audit, and Financial Controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Exposure to multi-project financial management is preferred.
