Position Overview

The Vice President Finance & Accounts is responsible for leading the construction company's financial strategy, planning, compliance, and risk management functions. The role ensures strong financial governance, project cost control, regulatory compliance, and optimal capital structuring to support large-scale infrastructure and EPC road projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Advise the management on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions.
- Lead long-term financial planning for BOT, HAM, EPC, and PPP road projects.
- Ensure effective capital structuring and debt management.
- Oversee annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor project-wise profitability and cost control.
- Implement project accounting systems for construction contracts.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Arrange project financing (term loans, working capital, bank guarantees).
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and investors.




- Manage cash flow to support multi-location project execution.
- Ensure timely release of funds for procurement, subcontractors, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IND AS / IFRS as applicable).
- Oversee preparation of financial statements and consolidated reports.
- Ensure statutory compliance including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable laws.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Monitor cost estimates, BOQ analysis, and budget allocations.
- Oversee revenue recognition as per construction contract accounting standards.
- Manage claims, variations, and escalation billing in road projects.
- Ensure control over plant & machinery accounting and depreciation.
- Develop financial risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, and audit teams.
- Build systems for performance monitoring and accountability.
