About the Job Invasystems is seeking an experienced Senior AVEVA PI Engineer to lead the design, deployment, integration, and optimization of AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoft PI) Systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial data infrastructure, a robust understanding of real-time data systems, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions across manufacturing, energy, utilities, etc. Oil & Gas(preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement AVEVA PI System architectures, including PI Server, PI AF (Asset Framework), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of PI infrastructure
- Lead and manage end-to-end PI system projects, including scoping, planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Integrate PI System with control systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS, SCADA) using PI Interfaces and Connectors.
- Develop and maintain AF hierarchies, Event Frames, calculations, and PI Vision dashboards.
- Ensure accurate and timely data collection, aggregation, and visualization.




- Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and data integrity.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
- Support digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and compliance records.
- Comply with company policies

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–7 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript, Python).
- Familiarity with SQL, MQTT, OPC, Modbus, or similar industrial protocols.
- AVEVA (OSIsoft) PI certifications are highly desirable.
- Preferred exposure to cloud-based PI System architectures (e.g., PI System on Azure).
- Experience with PI Integrators (e.g., Integrator for Business Analytics, Cloud).
