Key Responsibilities

- YWCA of Delhi is a leading NGO in Delhi. Its projects and programs provide safe places to working women through its Hostels and Shelter Homes. Further, it has Vocational Training Institutes works towards ending violence against women. One of its aims is to empower women while creating awareness about their individual rights.
- The Vocational Trainer will design and deliver practical, need-based vocational training programmes that enhance the livelihood opportunities of shelter home residents. The Vocational Trainer will be responsible for designing and conducting vocational and livelihood skill programmes for destitute and vulnerable women residing in the Shelter Home. The role aims to promote self-reliance, restore confidence, and facilitate social and economic rehabilitation through practical, market-oriented skill development.
- Conduct vocational and livelihood training tailored to the abilities and interests of shelter home residents.
- Motivate and mentor residents, fostering confidence, discipline, and independence.




- Develop practical training modules and maintain attendance, assessment, and progress records.
- Coordinate with the Shelter Home team to support each residents rehabilitation plan.
- Organize product exhibitions, sales, and other initiatives that enhance livelihood opportunities.
- Maintain training materials, equipment, and workshop spaces in a secure and effective manner.

Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline with a recognised certification, diploma, or degree in a relevant vocational trade.
- Minimum 3 years experience in vocational training, skill development, livelihood promotion, or a related field.
- Experience working with women, adolescents, or vulnerable communities will be preferred.
