Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Java Architect to define, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, and Distributed Systems, with a proven track record of architecting enterprise solutions, driving technology strategy, and mentoring engineering teams.

The Java Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering leadership to establish architectural standards, ensure solution scalability, and drive technical excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise-scale applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot Microservices.
- Define technical architecture, solution blueprints, and enterprise design standards.
- Lead architecture discussions and make key technology decisions aligned with business goals.
- Design highly scalable, secure, resilient, and cloud-native applications.
- Define API architecture and integration strategies using REST APIs and API Gateways (NGINX preferred).
- Design event-driven and distributed systems using Apache Kafka.
- Architect containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design cloud-native solutions on Azure or AWS.




- Work closely with UI teams using ReactJS/Angular to ensure seamless application integration.
- Design database architecture using PostgreSQL, CouchDB, and other SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design reviews.
- Mentor Technical Leads and development teams on architecture and design principles.
- Drive performance tuning, application security, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend technology adoption strategies.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Support estimation, risk assessment, technical planning, and project delivery.

Required Experience

- 1015+ years of experience in Java enterprise application development.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Java Architect.
- Strong experience in architecting Microservices-based enterprise applications.
- Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and distributed systems.




- Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Azure or AWS.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Robust knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database architecture and optimization.
- Experience implementing API Gateways and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience defining enterprise architecture standards and governance.
- Proven experience leading technical teams across multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
- Exposure to Kubernetes Operators and Service Mesh (Istio) is an advantage.
- Certifications in Java, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or TOGAF are preferred.
