- Overseeing BIM software implementation across projects and ensuring standardization of processes.
- Managing a team of BIM coordinators and specialists.
- Facilitating digital project execution according to specific standards and schedules.
- Creating, managing, and updating the organization's BIM strategy.
- Training and assisting project stakeholders in correctly implementing BIM models.
- Leading BIM coordination meetings to discuss project updates and issues.
- Preparation of BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and application of BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Coordinate and manage BIM project datasets/workflow and project set-up.
- Undertake coordination with Senior Design Engineers and Design leads in the Lead Offices
- Check and verify that quality requirements have been achieved.
- Provide Advanced BIM training on softwares and BIM processes to the team
- Check all members of the project team are following the BIM Standards/BIM Execution Plan/ISO 19650 standards.
- Direct, monitor and participate in current developments and enhancements in support of Project and Client requirements.
- Helping the project utilise the data that it creates,
maximising the use of dashboards to get information into the hands of the project
- Coordinating project model deliveries and reviewing models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Creating training materials and conducting training sessions for BIM software users.
- Liaising with project managers, engineers, and architects to facilitate seamless workflow integration.
- Maintaining the Project Information Model and overseeing data management throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience working with Revit, Inventor, Aveva E3D and Navisworks.
- Understanding the relevant Digital/BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired.
- Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices.
- Basic knowledge of Water and Wastewater Area / Domain.
- Collaborative Skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams.
- Good Spoken English and written English is essential.
