Job Summary

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience who can develop and customize WordPress websites using custom code. The candidate should have good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress backend development. The role involves building responsive websites, customizing themes, developing custom features, and maintaining website performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintainWordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.(without paid theme/plugin)
- ConvertUI/UX designs (Figma/PSD) into responsive WordPress websites.
- Customize existingWordPress themeWordPress Developer with + years of experience
- Create custom WordPress themes from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Work withWordPress hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.
- Develop and modify custom plugins when required.
- Handle backend tasks such as database queries, API integrations, and form processing.
- Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and security.
- Troubleshoot and fixWordPress issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge ofHTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript




- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
- Understanding of Flexbox, Grid, and CSS animations
- Ability to convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect websites
- Experience in custom theme development
- Knowledge ofWordPress template hierarchy
- Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields
- Understanding ofWordPress hooks and filters
- Experience working with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge ofPHP
- Understanding ofMySQL database structure and WordPress file hierarchy
- Ability to create or customize WordPress plugins
- Understanding ofsecurity best practices

Experience

- 3+ years of experiencein WordPress development.

Education

- Bachelors degree inComputer Science / IT / related field(preferred but not mandatory).

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

- Experience withGit or version control
