About the role

We are looking for a SDET to join our engineering team and contribute to quality through software testing and test automation. In this role, you will work with development and product teams to create and execute test cases, build automation scripts, validate APIs and applications, and support the reliability of our systems. If you are passionate about quality engineering, enjoy learning at the intersection of development and testing, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment, we want to hear from you.





As SDET you will:

- Create, execute, and maintain functional and regression test cases for applications and APIs.
- Develop and maintain basic API test automation scripts using Java and frameworks such as Rest Assured.
- Work with UI automation tools such as Selenium to automate and validate application workflows.
- Collaborate with product and development teams in an Agile environment to identify, reproduce, and track defects.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate request/response behavior.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB for basic data validation.
- Support testing of event-driven systems and gain exposure to streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Assist in performance and load testing using JMeter or equivalent tools.
- Execute automated test suites through CI/CD pipelines and gain exposure to tools such as Jenkins.
- Continuously learn and adopt testing frameworks, tools, and best practices to improve test coverage and quality.

Required Skills:

- 0–1 year of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test automation.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, test cases, test scenarios, defect life cycle, and SDLC.




- Basic proficiency in Java or another programming language, with an interest in test automation.
- Hands-on exposure to API testing using Postman and/or automation frameworks such as Rest Assured.
- Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to Selenium or any UI automation framework.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases such as MySQL or MongoDB for data validation.
- Familiarity with Git and an understanding of CI/CD concepts; exposure to Jenkins is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and willingness to work in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with a willingness to learn.

Desired Skill

- Exposure to testing machine learning or data science model pipelines in production or pre-production environments.
- Exposure to evaluating or testing LLM-powered applications, including prompt testing, output validation, and safety benchmarking using tools such as LangSmith or OpenAI Evals.
