Job Summary

As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines, we are seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our Information Technology team. The Information Security Analyst supports the organisation's Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensures ongoing compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022, data protection regulations (including GDPR where applicable), and internal security policies. This role is responsible for operational security activities, risk management support, monitoring, incident response, and assisting in strengthening ADVANZ PHARMA's security posture across global operations.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- ISMS ISO 27001:2022 Support: Maintain ISMS documentation (policies, standards, procedures, work instructions, evidence logs).
- Help collect and organise audit evidence for internal/external audits.
- Assist in tracking corrective actions, preventive actions, and continual improvement items.
- Support basic control checks and evidence preparation as directed.
- GRC Reviews (Periodic Reviews Governance Activities): Assist with information security control effectiveness reviews (scheduled checks, evidence collation, documenting results).

- Support policy and procedure review cycles (version control, review reminders, update tracking).
- Support management review inputs (metrics collection, action tracking, meeting pack preparation).




- Assist with tracking and closure of audit findings and corrective action plans.
- Vulnerability: Coordinate between teams for closure of observation of vulnerabilities (e.g., rescans, configuration screenshots/logs).
- Maintain vulnerability registers, SLA tracking, and reporting metrics.
- Security Awareness Culture: Support security awareness campaigns (newsletters, posters, intranet posts).
- Assist in phishing simulations and help track completion of assigned training.
- Provide basic guidance to colleagues on security hygiene (passwords, MFA, data handling, incident reporting).
- Reporting Administration: Maintain security dashboards and trackers (incidents, vulnerabilities, risk actions, training metrics).
- Prepare weekly/monthly updates for the Information Security Officer/Manager.
- Keep documentation accurate, current, and audit-ready.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.

Knowledge, Skills Experience

- 2-3 years of experience in information security, IT security, or risk management.
- Understanding of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and Annex A controls
- Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, life sciences)
- Familiarity with SIEM PAM solutions, Microsoft 365 security controls, Cloud security principles (Azure)
- Understanding of GDPR and data protection principles
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to connect with senior management internally in third-party suppliers or service providers.
