Job Summary
The Parenteral Operator is responsible for performing manufacturing activities in sterile (aseptic) environments for injectable pharmaceutical products. This includes operation of filling, sealing, sterilization, and related equipment while ensuring strict compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor aseptic filling, sealing, and sterilization equipment such as vial filling machines, ampoule filling lines, and autoclaves
- Ensure cleanroom protocols are strictly followed (gowning, sanitation, contamination control)
- Perform line clearance before and after batch operations
- Carry out batch manufacturing activities as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR)
- Maintain accurate documentation and logbooks as per GMP guidelines
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report abnormalities
- Assist in equipment cleaning, sterilization, and validation activities
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory compliance (WHO-GMP, USFDA, etc.)
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) for in-process checks
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards in sterile areas
