We are seeking a Lead Engineer HVAC with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to manage the design of HVAC systems for large-scale building projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on Middle Eastern projects and a deep understanding of international standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the HVAC design and engineering for complex building projects (commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use developments).
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including concept design, scheme design, detailed design, tendering, and construction period design support.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.) and Middle Eastern regulations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, architecture, structural, ID, specialist services such as Kitchen & Laundry, and BIM teams).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and design teams.
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, BOQs, quality assurance documentation, and specifications.
- Interface with clients, consultants,



and contractors for design discussions and project delivery.
- Support business development through technical proposals and client presentations.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in HVAC design for building services.
- Strong exposure to Middle Eastern projects (mandatory).
- Proficiency in tools such as HAP, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, load calculations, ducting, chilled/hot water systems, and energy efficiency practices.
- Familiarity with Green Building standards (LEED, Estidama, etc.) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
