Senior Engineer

Responsibilities Maintenance Management

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for plant equipment.
- Ensure minimum downtime and maximum equipment availability.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and update maintenance schedules, SOPs, and maintenance records.

Equipment Utilities
- Maintain mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Monitor and maintain utility systems including air compressors, cooling towers, boilers, and water systems.
- Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects.

Planning Cost Control
- Prepare annual maintenance plans and shutdown schedules.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical spares availability.




- Control maintenance costs while improving equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and service requirements.

Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure secure maintenance practices.
- Support audits related to safety, quality, and environmental management systems.

Team Management
- Supervise technicians and contract manpower.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for smooth plant operations.
