Cluster Manager Commercial Insurance 4+ Years – Mumbai

Are you an experienced Commercial Insurance professional with strong expertise in broker management, business development, renewals, and commercial lines? We are looking for a Cluster Manager to drive business growth, strengthen broker relationships, and expand market presence across Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with established broker networks and experience handling mid to large-ticket commercial insurance business.

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities –
• Achieve monthly business targets across assigned lines of business.
• Manage and service existing brokers/intermediaries, including renewals and new business.
• Develop relationships with new brokers/intermediaries to increase market penetration.
• Ensure adherence to service-level TATs set by the distribution team.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations and servicing.
• Meet clients and strengthen the organization’s market presence.
• Maintain business reports and MIS as per company guidelines.
• Ensure accurate booking of sourced business.
• Coordinate coinsurance and reinsurance payments.
• Drive business across commercial lines including Fire & Engineering, Liability, Marine, Workmen’s Compensation, and related commercial insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and key market intermediaries.

Requirements –




• 2–4 years of experience in the Mumbai insurance market within Sales / Marketing.
• Experience with General Insurance companies or leading insurance brokers/intermediaries.
• Candidates currently working as Sales Managers in Corporate or Broking verticals with General Insurance companies are preferred.
• Experience handling Corporate Agency channels with relevant General Insurance players will also be considered.
• Must have an established broker network and strong market relationships.
• Experience handling mid to large-ticket commercial insurance business is preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance lines such as Fire & Engineering, Liability, Marine, and Workmen’s Compensation.

Candidates NOT suitable –
• Professionals primarily handling Retail Insurance.
• Candidates from Bancassurance or Retail Agency channels.
• Candidates focused primarily on SME Agency business.
• Candidates handling only small-ticket SME broking business.
• Candidates without an established broker/intermediary network.
