Job Summary:

- The Line Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the production/filling line to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, proper product levels, minimum wastage, and efficient manpower handling. The role includes maintaining production quality, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring safety and hygiene standards are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Line Operations

- Operate and monitor the production/filling line efficiently.
- Ensure the filling line is working properly throughout the shift.
- Maintain the required product level during production.
- Coordinate with the production team to achieve daily production targets.
- Perform basic machine checks before starting operations.

Manpower Handling

- Manage and guide manpower working on the production line.
- Allocate work responsibilities to line workers as per production requirements.
- Ensure discipline and smooth coordination among team members.

Wastage Control

- Monitor material usage and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished goods.




- Report any leakage, spillage, or abnormal wastage immediately.

Quality & Safety

- Follow GMP, safety, and hygiene practices during operations.
- Ensure product quality standards are maintained during production.
- Maintain cleanliness of the production area and machines.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production records and line-related reports.
- Inform supervisors about machine breakdowns or production issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams when required.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of production/filling line operations.
- Basic understanding of machine handling.
- Valuable manpower handling and coordination skills.
- Ability to control wastage and maintain productivity.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.

Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma / Any Graduate preferred.

Experience:

1 to 6 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
