Role Summary / Purpose

The Content Research & Writer is responsible for managing the research, development, and production of high-quality content for IMS, including blogs, research articles, short-format content, headlines, advertisements, and website copy. The role will help strengthen IMS's digital presence, attract new users, and establish the organization as a thought leader in education, test preparation, and admission consulting.

Role Scope & Accountability (Top 4 but not limited to)

1. Conduct in-depth research and write high-quality blogs and research articles across education, test preparation, and admission consulting, covering exams such as CAT, GMAT, CLAT, and other programs catered to by IMS.

2. Own and manage the content calendar and content production process, ensuring timely delivery, high editorial quality, accurate information, proofreading, editing, and consistency across articles and blogs.

3. Develop and refine content to meet high academic, editorial, and SEO standards, including effective use of keywords, search intent, headlines, short-format content, advertising copy, and website copy.

4. Track and measure content performance through key metrics such as page views, users, time spent, leads, and enrolments from Google and organic sources, and use insights to improve content effectiveness.

Outcomes expected (within first 6-12 months)

1. Increase new users and relevant traffic to IMS digital properties through high-quality, engaging, and search-optimized content.

2. Establish IMS as a credible thought leader in education, test preparation,



and admission consulting through authoritative blogs and research-led content.

3. Build a structured and consistently delivered content calendar with robust editorial and academic quality standards.

4. Improve organic content performance by using data-driven insights to increase engagement, leads, and enrolments.

Qualification / Competencies Required (Must-Have)

- Master's degree in English, Journalism, or a related discipline (Preferred).

- 0 to 03 years of experience as a Copywriter or in content writing.

- Excellent written communication skills with strong command of grammar and language.

- Immaculate understanding of grammar and familiarity with proofreading/editing tools such as Grammarly.

- Ability to conduct accurate and in-depth research, particularly in the field of education.

- Basic understanding of organic growth and SEO, including SEO keywords and search intent.

- Experience with Content Management Systems, preferably WordPress.
