Job Summary

The Senior Area Sales Officer / ASO plays a vital support role within the sales team, focusing on achieving TMT sales targets, expanding market reach. The role involves actively participating in field sales, building strong relationships with dealers/distributors/ builders/ contractures/influencers.

Job Responsibilities

- Actively identify and pursue potential customers in the assigned territory, generate leads, conduct product demonstrations and presentations, and convert leads into sales.
- Build and nurture solid relationships with existing and potential clients, including contractors, builders, and architects.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly and efficiently, and provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in achieving individual and team sales targets for TMT products (volume and revenue) within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate with dealers and distributors,



ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely delivery of products.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, customer databases, and assist with other administrative tasks related to sales operations.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, analyse competitor activities, and identify emerging industry trends.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as supply chain and marketing teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment, promotional activities, and a seamless customer experience.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers.
- A good understanding of TMT steel products and their applications is crucial.
- ASO's need to be customer-focused and possess strong customer service skills.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor Degree in Commerce or related field.
- Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in TMT Sales.
