Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to Head - Lab Operations.

- To learn and have complete knowledge of all SOPs / relevant documents / safety manual / instruments in your department.
- To learn, validate and implement the techniques in the department.
- To learn, implement and document the departmental Quality control procedures (IQC/EQC).
- Be responsible for all reported Conventional Cytogenetics Metaphase analysis for constitutional disorder and Hematological malignancies.
- Be responsible for all Clinical Cytogenomics test reporting and validation of test reports, including Cytogenetics and FISH assays.
- Maintain a strict control over the turnaround Time (TAT) for all the tests reported.
- To resolve queries pertaining to tests in your department.
- To participate in training sessions organized by the organization from time to time.
- To strictly monitor Quality control and external Assurance / Proficiency systems.

Fellowship in Cytogenomics is mandatory.
