Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled VMC Programming cum Operator to handle programming, setup, and operation of Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for precision manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit CNC/VMC programs (G-code, M-code)
- Set up VMC machines, tools, and fixtures
- Operate machines to produce components as per drawings
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Monitor machining process and ensure quality standards
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.)
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety guidelines
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and machining processes
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Familiarity with cutting tools and parameters
- Basic quality inspection knowledge
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
