We are looking for a compassionate and responsible Mental Health Counsellor to provide counselling support to individuals experiencing psychological, emotional, behavioural, and related concerns.
The selected candidate will provide on-call counselling services, understand callers' concerns, offer appropriate psychological support, and guide them toward suitable resources or professional care whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide confidential and empathetic counselling to individuals over the phone.
- Address concerns related to psychological and emotional well-being.
- Provide counselling support for school-related and clinical concerns.
- Assist individuals dealing with learning disabilities and related challenges.
- Provide appropriate support and guidance to patients and their caregivers.
- Handle counselling related to behavioural, emotional, and mental well-being concerns.
- Assess the caller's concerns and provide appropriate first-level psychological support.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity during every interaction.
- Identify situations that may require referral to a qualified mental health professional or other appropriate services.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of counselling interactions as per organizational requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Graduation/Post-Graduation in Psychology.
- Preferred Qualification: B.A. / M.A. in Psychology.
- Experience: 01 year of experience.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
- Good communication and active listening skills.
- Solid interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and patience.
- Good command of Marathi, Hindi, and English will be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive conversations professionally.
Compensation
Salary: 13,000 16,000 per month
