Responsibilities : -

- Identify, develop, evaluate, and onboard suitable suppliers
- Source materials, components, and services as per production requirements.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize suppliers.
- Conduct vendor audits and supplier assessments.
- Coordinate with production, quality, stores, and planning departments for procurement activities.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor supplier quality performance, delivery schedules, and corrective actions.
- Manage purchase orders, follow-ups, delivery schedules, and supplier communications.
- Develop alternative suppliers to reduce risk and improve cost competitiveness.
- Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and ERP records.

Desired profile of the candidate : -





- Experience in vendor development and purchase functions in manufacturing industries.
- Strong supplier negotiation and cost-analysis skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial components procurement.
- Understanding of supplier quality systems and vendor audits.
- Familiarity with Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement documentation.
- Robust communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple suppliers.

Qualification : -

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Metallergy and Mechtronics
- MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) advantageous
