- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a CoE lead, Practice Lead, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent governance/leadership capacity.
- Define and own the multi-year Salesforce platform roadmap in alignment with enterprise IT strategy and business goals.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance: design review boards, solution blueprints, coding standards, naming conventions, and workplace strategy (org strategy single org vs. multi-org, hub-and-spoke, etc.).
- Own the CoE operating model: intake process, prioritization framework, demand management, and capacity planning across LoBs.
- Provide architectural oversight across Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Revenue Cloud/CPQ, and Agentforce.
- Establish reusable frameworks, accelerators, and design patterns (LWC component libraries, OmniStudio templates, integration templates, Flow libraries)
to speed up delivery across projects.
- Own AppExchange/ISV evaluation and technical due diligence for new tools entering the ecosystem.
- Oversee delivery across multiple concurrent projects/pods — ensuring architecture compliance, code quality, and adherence to CoE standards.
- Act as the primary technical advisor to business sponsors, product owners, and executive leadership on Salesforce capability and roadmap decisions.
- Manage relationships with Salesforce account teams (AE, SA, Success Manager) to stay ahead of product roadmap, licensing changes, and platform releases (Spring/Summer/Winter).
- Own vendor/SI governance for any outsourced delivery partners — SOW reviews, delivery quality audits, and knowledge transfer requirements.
