The International Holidays Travel Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling the company's travel products or services (e.g., tours, accommodations, transportation, etc.).
- This role involves understanding different cultural nuances, conducting market research, and developing tailored sales strategies for specific regions.
- The incumbent will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with international clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients in international markets.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with clients and partners.
- Advises clients regarding destinations, cultures, customs, weather and activities.
- Collects payments, books travel arrangements and pays applicable fees.
- Handles travel issues, conflicts, complaints, cancelations and refunds.
- Promote and sell travel packages and services tailored to specific markets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Participate in international travel fairs, BTL activities and tourism events.
- Stay updated on international travel trends and market dynamics.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any client issues promptly.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry.
- Strong understanding of international markets and cultural nuances.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
