Roles & Responsibilities Global Markets Software Developer

- Design, develop, test and deploy full-stack applications using C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Python, PowerShell and SQL.
- Develop and maintain desktop applications and service-side solutions supporting Japan Global Markets business.
- Design application components covering UI, business logic and database layers.
- Develop reusable frameworks, common UI components, scripting modules, logging and notification utilities.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and batch processes for trade, position and reference data.
- Develop Straight-Through Processing (STP) solutions connecting internal systems with settlement, payment, custodian and central-bank infrastructures.
- Build tools for regulatory and operational reporting.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation and file generation using SQL, Excel/CSV and Power Query.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, monitoring and data-processing workflows.
- Provide production support,



including incident investigation, root-cause analysis, debugging, bug fixing and performance tuning.
- Work closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk, Operations and IT teams to understand requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable software solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, sprint planning and backlog management.
- Use Jira, Git and CI/CD pipelines for development, code reviews, automated testing and releases.
- Perform application testing, deployment and post-release validation across environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, application support procedures and development standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, automation, reliability and operational efficiency.
