Position : SAP BW on HANA Consultant

Experience : 5-9 Years

Location : Bengaluru(Candidates currently based in Bengaluru only)

Joining : Immediate Joiners will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end SAP BW on HANA/ Abap Bw on Hana solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions and architecture.
- Perform functional analysis, prepare HLD/LLD, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and maintain robust data models, ETL processes, reporting solutions, and BW objects.
- Design and implement LSA++ architecture and modern SAP BW best practices.
- Build and optimize Hybrid Data Models using Native HANA Calculation Views and ABAP CDS Views.
- Develop BW transformations using ABAP routines, AMDP, Classes, Procedures, and CDS Views.
- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot complex BW production issues.
- Work on complex SAP BW/4HANA environments and enterprise-scale architectures.
- Collaborate with functional teams, business users, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and deliver high-quality solutions within sprint timelines.
- Support production systems, including critical Month-End Closing (MEC) activities.
- Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation, and quality processes.

Mandatory Skills





- 5-9 years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and BW on HANA.
- Solid expertise in SAP BW ABAP development.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP BW Architecture, Data Modelling, Extraction, ETL, and Reporting.
- Strong experience with LSA++ Architecture.
- Hands-on experience in BW on HANA Hybrid Modelling, including Calculation Views and ABAP CDS Views.
- Strong BW ABAP development experience with:
- Routines
- Classes
- AMDP
- Procedures
- ABAP CDS Views

- Experience in complete SDLC including Requirement Gathering, Functional Analysis, HLD, LLD, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Production Support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with BW/4HANA Mixed Modelling.
- Functional knowledge of Production Planning (PP) and Finance (FI/CO) processes.
- Experience supporting Month-End Closing (MEC) activities.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and Test Automation.
- Experience in enterprise-scale SAP BW implementations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Note: Profiles will be evaluated primarily on BW ABAP, Data Modelling, SAP BW/4HANA, and Hybrid/Mixed Modelling experience. Candidates with deep technical expertise in these areas will be given preference
