About the Role

We are looking for a creative and versatile Digital Content Specialist to help produce engaging educational and marketing content for our Australian EdTech clients.

This is broader than a traditional video-editing role. You will work across video editing, animation, motion graphics, educational content, social media, AI-assisted content creation and digital storytelling.

You do not need to be an AI expert when you join. However, you must be open to being trained in Claude, ChatGPT and emerging AI creative tools and willing to incorporate them into your daily workflow.

Key Responsibilities

1. Edit professionally filmed educational videos for client Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Schoolola Tutoring.
2. Transform raw footage into engaging lessons using graphics, subtitles, animations, transitions, music and sound effects.
3. Create 2D animations, motion graphics and educational explainer videos.
4. Develop engaging digital learning content for Maths, English, Public Speaking and STEM programs for children and teenagers.
5. Create short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other digital platforms.
6. Create and adapt social media graphics, reels, promotional videos and other marketing content.
7.



Assist with script editing, storyboarding, content planning and educational content development.
8. Work closely with teachers, curriculum developers, content associates, marketing teams and project leads.
9. Ensure content aligns with client brand guidelines, learning objectives and LMS requirements.
10. Undertake training in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools and use them to assist with:

- Content ideation and research
- Script development and editing
- Storyboarding
- Video and animation concepts
- Social media content
- Image and visual generation
- Voice and audio workflows
- Educational content development
- Quality checking
- Improving creative productivity and efficiency

1. Experiment with emerging AI video, image, voice, animation and content-creation tools under guidance from the team.
2. Organise digital assets and project files and consistently meet agreed production deadlines.
3. Receive feedback positively and efficiently implement revisions.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

- Video editing and digital content creation
- Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent professional editing software
- Motion graphics and/or 2D animation skills
- Strong visual storytelling and creative ability
- Social media content creation
- Strong written English communication
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently within a remote team
- Robust willingness to learn Claude, ChatGPT and AI-assisted creative workflows
