We're at an early and pivotal moment: the product works, the data is real, and we're making it legible and trustworthy for the people who love their animals most. About the RoleWe're looking for a Product Designer to define how design works at Hoomanely - the system, the process, and the standards. As our first designer, you'll work directly with the CEO and co-founders, translating complex pet-health data into calm, clear, and actionable experiences for pet parents. What You'll Do Design systems that surface pre-symptomatic health signals to non-clinical users without triggering false anxiety or alert fatigue. Translate sensor data from our v Bus mesh into actionable daily summaries that pet parents can understand and act on. Build the Ever Wiz app (i OS/Android) and companion web experience, from real-time health dashboards to onboarding flows. Create the design system and UI guidelines that will scale with the product and team. Define motion and micro-interaction patterns that make health data feel alive, not clinical. Design for ambiguity: AI-generated insights and probabilistic outputs that need to earn user trust.



You Might Be a Fit If...You have 5-8+ years of UI/UX or product design experience across mobile apps and web platforms. You have a robust portfolio of data-heavy applications - healthcare, wellness, finance, or another domain where information density and clarity coexist. You're highly proficient in Figma; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus. You have a solid grasp of information architecture for complex, multi-state systems. You're comfortable designing around AI-generated insights and probabilistic outputs - you find them intellectually interesting, not intimidating. You know user research fundamentals, including usability testing, interviews, and synthesis. You can move between strategy and pixels: present a design rationale to the CEO and ship production-ready specs to engineers in the same week. Bonus: motion design experience, or a background in hardware/Io T, connected wellness, or consumer electronics.
