JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team and help develop high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. You will be responsible for server-side application logic, database interactions, and API development, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js, or similar frameworks.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Passport.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in backend development.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven experience as a Node.js Developer (X+ years).




- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or Koa.js.
- Experience working with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.).
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
- Robust problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Good understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

- Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Server, Hasura).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions).
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization.
