Role DescriptionThis is a remote full time contractual role (6-12 months) for an Instructional Designer working with a Pune-based EdTech firm.The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining instructional content aligned to defined learning objectives and pedagogical standards. The role involves close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Senior Instructional Designers, and Project Managers to produce high-quality learning experiences across assigned modules or programs.Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Design & DevelopmentWorked on storyboarding for US K-12 education segment (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT) or K-12 India or Corporate / Vocational Learning CoursesConduct needs analysis to understand learning objectives, learner profiles, and content requirementsDesign and develop instructional artifacts such as blueprints, outlines, storyboards, assessments, and learning activitiesApply established instructional design models and pedagogical best practices to create engaging and effective contentTranslate SME inputs into transparent, structured, and learner-centric instructional materialsContent Execution & QualityDevelop content in alignment with defined guidelines, templates, and quality standardsEnsure instructional materials are consistent, accurate, and aligned with curriculum goalsIncorporate feedback from Senior IDs, SMEs,



and stakeholders to continuously improve learning assetsCollaboration & Project SupportWork closely with Senior Instructional Designers to implement design direction and standardsCollaborate with Project Managers to meet timelines, milestones, and delivery expectationsParticipate in design reviews and team discussions to resolve instructional or content-level challengesTools & PlatformsSupport development of e-learning content for LMS platformsUse authoring tools, collaboration platforms, and review systems as required by the projectAssist in testing and validating learning materials prior to final deliveryQualifications Experience3–10 years of experience in Instructional Design or Learning Experience DesignPrior experience in K-12 content (US education system preferred), Career and Technical Education (CTE), vocational training,Skills & CompetenciesStrong proficiency in instructional design principles and curriculum developmentExperience conducting needs analysis and translating requirements into instructional solutionsUnderstanding of assessment design, learning objectives, and instructional alignmentFamiliarity with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and digital content developmentAbility to evaluate instructional content and suggest improvementsStrong written communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skillsEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Training, or a related fieldBudget: INR 50-95K per month (depending on candidate exposure and relevant experience and fitment)Company DescriptionSamridhi Infotech is dedicated to empowering businesses through customized HR and talent solutions.
