A leading Business School in Mumbai is looking to appoint a dynamic Director – Admissions & Outreach to lead its student recruitment and enrollment strategy.
This role will drive admissions across the School’s management programmes, strengthen its outreach ecosystem, and build a high-conversion admissions funnel aligned with the institution’s growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual admissions and enrollment strategy for MBA/PGDM and other management programmes.
- Own the admissions funnel from lead generation and enquiry management to conversion and enrollment.
- Drive outreach initiatives across schools, colleges, education counsellors, coaching institutes, fairs and digital channels.
- Build and strengthen relationships with students, parents, counsellors, corporate partners and other key stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the admissions and outreach team, setting clear targets and performance metrics.
- Use CRM, admissions data and market insights to improve lead quality,
conversion rates and enrollment outcomes.
- Identify current student markets and develop strategies to strengthen the Business School’s reach and positioning.
- Work closely with Marketing, Academic and Leadership teams to align admissions strategy with the School’s brand and programme positioning.
- Track competitor activity, market trends and student preferences to identify growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution; MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, education marketing or business development, preferably within higher education.
- Strong experience in management education/MBA/PGDM admissions will be highly valued.
- Proven track record of achieving admissions and enrollment targets.
- Strong understanding of the Mumbai and broader Indian management education market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Data-driven, commercially astute and highly execution-oriented.
