Salesforce Engineer

Pune, India

As a Salesforce Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy innovative Salesforce solutions that support Rockwell Automation s customer engagement and digital transformation initiatives. You will report to the Technical Leader and work in a hybrid capacity from our Pune, India office. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across Salesforce Cloud platforms.

Your Responsibilities:

- Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Have knowledge oof Salesforce Experience Cloud Module.
- Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools like MuleSoft.
- Participate in solution design with architects and business analysts, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT to ensure solution quality.
- Contribute to release planning, deployment, and documentation using tools like GitHub, Gearset, and OwnBackup.

The Essentials You Will Have:

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS,



Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Salesforce developer.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices.

The Preferred You Might Also Have:

- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Developer I II).
- Experience with CTI integration, email automation, and knowledge management.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.

Rockwell Automation s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
