Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team full time in India.

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow to lead quality engineering across our cloud-native data platform and execution engines. You will build and maintain robust end-to-end automation frameworks to test serverless microservices, web applications, custom business logic engines, and complex data ingestion pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks tailored for backend services (. NET 10 / Azure Functions) and web interfaces (Angular 21)
- Execution Engine Validation: Create functional, integration, and regression test suites for proprietary core engines, including the Rules Configuration Engine (RCE) and ClaimStaker
- Data Pipeline Testing: Automate verification of data flows, parsing accuracy, and transformations across the Snowflake data platform, Custom PDF Parsing Pipeline, and Rule Abstraction Libraries
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test execution directly into Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous validation across all client-owned environments
- Quality Performance: Define test strategies, mock external dependencies, validate API endpoints,



and conduct performance/load testing on Azure infrastructure

Requirements

- Automation Engineering: 4+ years of hands-on experience building automated test suites for both frontend (e. g. , Playwright, Cypress, Selenium for Angular) and APIs (e. g. , Postman, REST Assured, C#/. NET testing libraries)
- Environment DevOps: Direct experience integrating test suites with Azure DevOps Pipelines and working in Azure cloud environments
- Backend Logic Testing: Strong programming skills in C# (. NET) or TypeScript/JavaScript to build resilient test tooling for Azure Functions and complex execution engines
- Data Validation: Proficient in SQL to query Snowflake databases, validate data extraction logic, and test custom data ingestion/parsing pipelines
- Process: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, bug tracking, and test case management within Azure DevOps

Desirable

- Testing experience with OCR, document processing, or PDF parsing engines
- Knowledge of serverless architecture validation and event-driven testing
