This role combines architectural leadership and hands-on development to design and build enterprise-grade AI platforms. The candidate will lead the development of AI-driven systems including LLM orchestration, agent-based workflows, and scalable microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities
AI Architecture & Strategy
- Define end-to-end AI architecture including LLM, RAG, and orchestration layers
- Drive long-term AI platform strategy and technology roadmap
- Evaluate frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Spring AI
AI Engineering & Development
- Design and develop AI-powered enterprise applications
- Implement agent-based orchestration workflows
- Build natural language interfaces and automation systems
LLM & RAG Systems
- Integrate LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock
- Design prompt engineering and context strategies
- Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines
Backend & Integration
- Develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement REST APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle
Cloud & DevOps
- Deploy applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
Observability & Performance
- Implement monitoring using OpenTelemetry
- Optimize latency, scalability, and cost efficiency
Security & Compliance
- Ensure secure AI system design and data protection
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms
Technical Leadership
- Lead development teams and mentor engineers
- Define coding standards and best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes
Required Skills
- Solid expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG
- Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or Spring AI
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
- SQL and database expertise
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Working knowledge of Python
Experience
- 10+ years in software development
- 3+ years in AI/LLM systems
