Job Description:
PrimeSoft is seeking senior test automation engineer with experience in software testing,
automation testing and performance testing with solid understanding of SDLC process, test automation concepts, automation tools, and frameworks. The automation engineer will perform all or most of the following:

- Perform functional and non-functional testing of web applications, APIs, and databases using the latest testing techniques and AI-powered automation tools.

- Analyze business requirements to design comprehensive functional and performance test plans.

- Create and maintain manual test cases ensuring thorough test coverage.

- Design and develop automation frameworks and automate API, web and desktop

- application test cases.

- Accelerate testing and automation using AI-powered tools and agents

- Develop and execute performance test scripts across multiple environments to identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.

- Mentor and guide junior test automation engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.

- Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, log defects, and prepare detailed test execution reports.

- Prepare and maintain test automation documentation, including framework design, test scripts, and maintenance guidelines.

- Generate and track QA and Automation metrics and reports, such as test coverage, automation coverage, execution results, performance analysis, and defect summaries.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews,



and client demos.

- Collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders, manage expectations, and deliver high-quality results within project timelines.

The selected candidate shall be a self-starter and work independently on identified modules and take ownership of designing and developing test cases and test automation scripts.

Mandatory Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation using at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in web and desktop application test automation using at least two automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, TestComplete, Cucumber, or SpecFlow, with robust preference for Playwright and Cucumber.

- Experience API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Playwright, K6, JMeter, etc.

- Experience in performance testing using JMeter, K6 or similar tools

- Experience with version control tools such as GIT or Bitbucket etc. and integrating automation scripts inti CI/CD pipelines

- Experience in database testing and SQL Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence

- Experience in test management tools (preferably Jira Zephyr) Additional (Optional) Skills:

- Experience working with Oracle Fusion

- Knowledge in AI enabled software testing and automation using AI agents, models (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)

- Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
