Job Title: Senior Accountant (Immediate Joiners)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with solid expertise in accounting principles and hands-on experience in Any ERP to manage end-to-end finance operations, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making through accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Odoo ERP Accounting Module

- Configure and manage Odoo Accounting module including chart of accounts, journals, and fiscal positions.
- Process and post journal entries, invoices, bills, and payments in Odoo
- Generate financial reports from Odoo P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Cash Flow
- Manage Odoo bank reconciliation match transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Set up and manage multi-currency transactions in Odoo for UAE (AED), India (INR), and international dealings
- Maintain and manage customer and vendor ledgers in Odoo
- Coordinate with the IT/ERP team for Odoo upgrades, module configurations, and issue resolution.
- Customise and run Odoo accounting dashboards for management reporting

General Accounting

- Maintain accurate books of accounts for UAE and Indian subsidiary entities
- Process and post journal entries, invoices, bills, and payments in Odoo.
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements on a weekly and monthly basis
- Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules
- Process payroll accounting entries and staff expense claims

Financial Reporting & MIS





- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management revenue, expenses, margins, and cash flow
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Prepare financial statements for audit and coordinate with external auditors
- Prepare cash flow statements and manage working capital reporting
- Provide financial analysis and variance reports as required by management

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting — mandatory
- M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA Inter — preferred
- Odoo Certification (any version) — strongly preferred

Experience

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working on Odoo Accounting module — mandatory
- Experience with Odoo versions 15, Nexus Version.
- Experience in multi-entity / group company accounting preferred
- Exposure to intercompany transactions and consolidation is a plus

Technical Skills — Odoo Specific

- Odoo Accounting — Invoicing, Payments, Reconciliation, Journal entries.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Odoo multi-company and multi-currency configuration
- Odoo analytic accounts and cost centre management
- Ability to generate custom reports using Odoo Reporting module

Other Skills

- Strong knowledge of IFRS / IAS accounting standards
- Proficiency in MS Excel — advanced (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills — written and verbal English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
