We are seeking an experienced NetScaler Migration Engineer to lead the migration of physical Citrix NetScaler appliances to virtual NetScaler VPX instances across multiple data centers. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in NetScaler/ADC administration, migration planning, High Availability (HA), SSL certificate management, and application delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform discovery and assessment of existing physical NetScaler appliances, including VIPs, load-balanced services, SSL certificates, authentication policies, Rewrite/Responder policies, and Content Switching configurations.
- Design, deploy, and configure NetScaler VPX instances across data centers.
- Execute end-to-end NetScaler configuration and application migration to VPX appliances.
- Configure and validate High Availability (HA) for VPX instances.
- Migrate and validate SSL certificates, profiles,
and security configurations.
- Perform application testing, connectivity validation, and troubleshoot post-migration issues.
- Plan and execute production cutovers with minimal downtime.
- Prepare migration documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler ADC / NetScaler VPX
- Proven experience in NetScaler Migration (Mandatory)
- Load Balancing, VIP configuration, and Content Switching
- SSL Certificate and SSL Profile Management
- Authentication, Rewrite, and Responder Policies
- High Availability (HA) Configuration
- Migration Planning, Cutover, Validation, and Troubleshooting
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
