Role & responsibilities

Requirements:

- Experience Profile:
- 9+ years of progressive experience in software development, data, or machine learning engineering.
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 4+ years experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Science.
- 2+ years leading Generative AI or Agentic AI development projects from conception to production.
- Technical Expertise:
- Expert Python proficiency (6+ years preferred), architecting and deploying scalable, production-grade applications.
- Deep expertise in FastAPI, Flask, and using Google Cloud APIs via Python SDK.
- Familiarity with React.js for front-end integration.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for advanced database design and optimization.
- Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data mesh concepts.
- Generative AI & Agentic Proficiency:
- Deep architectural understanding and practical experience with Agentic Development Architectures (e.g., Agent Development Kit, Gemini Enterprise / Agentspace, LangGraph, Langchain).
- Proven experience designing and implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
- Expertise in Prompt Engineering, Prompt Chaining, and Text-to-SQL.
- Experience with Agent-to-Agent (A2A)



communication patterns and leading LLM frameworks.
- Direct experience designing and implementing LLM guardrails (e.g., content moderation, safety filters, hallucination mitigation) and ensuring AI system adherence to governance policies.
- GCP Architectural Skills:
- Advanced architectural understanding and hands-on experience with Vertex AI, Vector Search, Gemini Models, Document AI, Contact Center AI (CCAI).
- Expertise in GCP containerization (GKE, Cloud Run), serverless (Cloud Functions), and data services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Composer).
- Proven track record in driving MLOps implementations within GCP.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts, influence stakeholders, and foster strong relationships across teams.

Preferred Skills:

- GCP Professional Certifications (Machine Learning Engineer, Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer).
- Experience in client-facing consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate recent technologies and integrate them into enterprise architectures.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to AI (e.g., GDPR, ethical AI guidelines).
