Role & responsibilities

- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and other clinical research contracts.
- Perform end-to-end legal review and contractual risk assessments.
- Review contract language against company standards, templates, and playbooks.
- Negotiate contract terms with sponsors, CROs, research sites, and internal stakeholders.
- Review and manage Contract Amendments, Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs/NDAs), Site Agreements, and other research-related contracts.
- Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely execution of contracts while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with Legal, Clinical Operations, Sponsors, CROs, and Research Sites throughout the contracting process.
- Maintain contract documentation and support contract lifecycle management activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3+ years of experience in Clinical Research Contracting, Site Contracts, or Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) management.




- Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating:
- Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)
- Contract Amendments
- Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs/NDAs)
- Site Agreements
- Other Clinical Research Contracts
- Solid understanding of legal terminology, contract negotiation, and contractual risk assessment.
- Experience working with CROs, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Research organizations.
- Experience with contract review, redlining, and stakeholder management.
- Law Degree (LLB/JD) or Paralegal qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Important Note

- Budget negotiation experience is not the primary focus of this role.
- Candidates with only Procurement, Commercial Contracts, Finance, or Administrative Contract experience without Clinical Research Contracting exposure are unlikely to be a fit.
