Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head – Site Acquisition to lead site acquisition activities for Telecom infrastructure projects with a strong focus on IBS (In-Building Solutions) and FTTH/FTTx network deployment. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in acquiring commercial and residential properties, managing relationships with builders and real estate developers, and driving end-to-end acquisition activities. Candidates from telecom operators or telecom infrastructure solution providers will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end site acquisition for IBS and FTTH/FTTx projects across multiple regions.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with builders, real estate developers, RWAs, commercial property owners, and landlords.
- Identify and acquire suitable locations for telecom infrastructure, indoor coverage, and fiber network expansion.
- Manage negotiations related to commercial terms, lease agreements, right-of-way (RoW), and statutory approvals.
- Coordinate with Sales, Network Planning, Deployment, Legal, Projects, and Government Liaison teams for timely project execution.
- Ensure timely acquisition of sites to meet business rollout targets.




- Develop acquisition strategies for high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, townships, residential societies, malls, hospitals, hotels, and corporate campuses.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports, project trackers, and management dashboards.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Site Acquisition for Telecom projects.
- Hands-on experience in IBS (In-Building Solutions) deployment.
- Strong understanding of FTTH/FTTx network rollout and fiber infrastructure.
- Excellent network with Builders, Real Estate Developers, Property Owners, RWAs, and Commercial Leasing Teams.
- Experience in lease negotiations, landlord management, and statutory approvals.
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.
- Preferred Background
- Experience with telecom operators such as Airtel, Jio, Vodafone Idea, or BSNL, or telecom OEMs/system integrators involved in IBS and FTTH deployment.
- Experience in managing multi-city or pan-India acquisition teams is highly preferred.
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
