Role: Test Lead
Domain: Banking Payments (BACS, CHAPS)
Experience: 8-12+ Years
Location: Greater Noida , Pune ,Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end testing activities for UK payment systems involving BACS and CHAPS.
- Define test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test execution approach.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
- Manage Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT testing phases.
- Validate payment processing workflows, message formats, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
- Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive defect resolution.
- Prepare test metrics, status reports, and quality dashboards.
- Mentor and guide testing teams while ensuring adherence to QA processes.

Required Skills

- Robust experience in Banking & Payments Testing.
- Hands-on experience with BACS (Bankers' Automated Clearing Services)



and CHAPS (Clearing House Automated Payment System).
- Knowledge of payment lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and payment gateways.
- Experience in Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to SWIFT, Faster Payments (FPS), SEPA, or ISO 20022.
- Experience in Test Automation frameworks.
- Prior experience leading offshore/onshore testing teams.
