Responsibilities

- Build and implement solutions/automation scripts using Python for cost monitoring and optimization.
- Analyze cloud usage patterns and consistently deliver actionable insights to improve cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time cost tracking and reporting.
- Work with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch to handle and optimize resource utilization.
- Implement tagging strategies and carry out resource management policies.
- Coordinate with multi-functional teams to align on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
- Stay updated on AWS pricing models and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Use AWS-native tools such as Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Trusted Advisor for financial analysis.
- Effectively influence, direct, and monitor project work.
- Apply established relationships for effective collaboration within the team, across business areas, and with other levels.

Qualifications

- Must Have Qualifications Over 6-8 years of experience in IT operations management.
- Engineering graduate (B.E. / B.Tech / M.S. / M.Tech Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject area).




- Abilities Proficiency in Python with experience in automation, scripting, and data manipulation.
- Good understanding of AWS Services and their pricing models.
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for Python.
- Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost management tools.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on cloud financial optimization.
- Effective communication skills to work across teams and present financial insights.
- Other Positive English interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to a global working environment.
- Abilities in problem solving, analytical thinking, time management, planning decision making, self-motivation, and facilitating collaboration.
