We are hiring for Maintenance Executive - ( Warehouse) for a spices industry

JOB DESCRIPTION

Education Qualification : BTech- Electrical Engineer/Mechanical

Experience: 5-9 years experience

Designation : Maintenance Executive

CTC upto 10LPA

Location- Hyderabad

NOTE : Immediate Joiners are more preferable

Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) This position is responsible to ensure effective up keep and maintenance of all Electrical & Mechanical equipment in all areas of the Warehouse to ensure maximum equipment availability and minimum downtime. The position will supervise a team to get assigned maintenance activities including predictive and preventive maintenance done within the defined budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Well-being:

• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse buildings, roofing, flooring, and lighting systems.

• Ensure repair and upkeep of civil infrastructure including plumbing, masonry, and HVAC systems

. • Coordinate with service vendors for AMC tasks and emergency repairs.

2. Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Availability:

• Ensure availability and operability of all MHE (High Reach Trucks-HRT, Battery operated Pallet Truck- BOPT, Hand pallet trucks- HOPT, etc.).

• Schedule and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of MHE.

• Maintain service logs and ensure vendor adherence to SLA.

3. Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) Availability:

- Ensure availability and operability of ASRS
- Schedule and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of MHE.
- Maintain service logs and ensure vendor adherence to SLA.

4. Utility & Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure 24x7 operational efficiency of the following systems:





- Diesel Generators (DG)

• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)

• Transformers and LT Panels

- Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
- Fire Fighting Systems (sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers, pumps)

• Fire Detection System Implement preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM or statutory norms. Monitor and maintain backup power systems and ensure readiness for emergency use.

5. Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure safety measures are necessarily followed by the team and take initiative to enhance acceptance of safety
- Ensure effectiveness of RCA reports in case of accidents

• Ensure all team members are adequately trained with respect to EHS

- Ensure compliance to the norms under ISO, OHSAS and any other standards as applicable from time to time
- Ensure all required documentation and certifications are in order in compliance with various norms
- Participate in internal and external audits and provide the required support

6. Cost Management

• Maintain and control maintenance cost within budget with regards to maintenance and cost of spares

- Reduce maintenance costs by initiating cost saving measured through cutting-edge ideas and optimum usage of energy and consumable maintenance spares.

7. Documentation, MIS, Review & Analysis

• Ensure that records of all maintenance work carried out are maintained





- Ensure that all operating & training manuals are updated as required
- Review log books and all the maintenance activities performed
- Review inventory of spare parts and consumables
- Review spares consumption analysis sheet and take corrective action if required

• Conduct daily power consumption analysis and ascertain trends to enable control on costs

- Conduct breakdown analysis and prepare gap analysis report for breakdowns
- Prepare and Review compliance reports
- Prepare and Review PM Effectiveness reports

8. Team & Relationship Management

- Guide and manage the electrical maintenance team to ensure the department’s objectives are met
- Ensure electrical maintenance team is adequately trained and proactively work with HR at capability enhancement of team
- Conduct effective performance appraisals for the team and provide regular feedback

Required Skills

- Adherence to maintenance schedule and maintenance budget.
- Improvement in Warehouse reliability index.
- Upkeep of Material Handling Equipment & ASRS.
- Reduction in cost of maintenance (Stores, spares and repair maintenance cost).
- Reduction in energy cost (KWH/M3).
- PM Effectiveness of MHE, ASRS and other Utility Equipment.
- No. of accidents and no. of unsafe conditions
- Improvement initiatives (SPARSH Machine, QIP’s, Kaizan, Hira etc.)
- Compliance as per statutory standards.
