Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Looker, and Looker Studio.
- Build and manage LookML data models to create a reliable and governed semantic layer for enterprise reporting.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and performance improvement in BigQuery.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable analytics solutions.
- Leverage Generative AI and BigQuery to build conversational analytics solutions that enable natural language data exploration and insights.
- Configure AI-driven reporting features, including automated insights, summaries, and data narratives.
- Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data governance within the Looker environment.
- Collaborate with data engineering, business, and IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and high-quality data delivery.
- Maintain Looker projects using Git version control and follow best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor and optimize dashboard performance, data models, and BI environments for scalability and security.
- Support database migration and integration activities involving Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to move data from source systems into cloud data platforms.
- Train and support business users on BI tools, self-service analytics, and data literacy initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in Data Analytics,



Cloud Technologies, and Generative AI to drive continuous innovation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery, Looker, and Looker Studio.
- Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and development of LookML semantic models.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions.
- Experience working with cloud databases such as Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline development.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, conversational analytics, and natural language querying solutions integrated with BI platforms.
- Experience with Git and version control best practices for analytics and BI development.
- Understanding of data governance, security, user access management, and BI platform administration.
- Professional cloud certification in GCP, AWS, or Azure is preferred.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging data and AI to drive business insights and decision-making.
