- Build and maintain performance test scripts for both legacy distributed systems and microservices running on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
- Validate performance in hybrid architectures involving on prem systems, messaging layers, APIs, and cloud deployed services.
- Use APM and monitoring tools (AppD, Splunk) to isolate bottlenecks in on prem systems, PCF hosted services, and integration points.
- Conduct deep dive diagnostics across the stack: application code, JVM/CLR, database calls, queues, caches, and network paths.
- Partner with senior engineers and architects when legacy constraints require creative performance tuning solutions.
- Work cross functionally with development, QA, SRE, and architecture teams to ensure performance considerations are built into the SDLC.
- Enhance performance testing automation, integrating scenarios into CI/CD pipelines across both on prem and PCF continuous delivery workflows.
- Deliver clear, actionable performance reports illustrating system behavior across legacy and cloud environment.
