- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, UPS systems, DG sets, transformers, motors, pumps, and lighting systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore equipment safely with minimum downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and identify potential failures.
- Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure calibration/inspection status of relevant electrical monitoring and measuring instruments, where applicable.
- Support maintenance of laboratory utilities such as HVAC, power supply, emergency systems, and other critical facility equipment.
- Ensure electrical work is performed according to approved SOPs, safety procedures, and work permits.
- Follow GLP requirements and maintain proper documentation and traceability of maintenance activities.
- Assist during internal, client, and regulatory audits by providing required maintenance records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in electrical rooms and maintenance areas.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized electrical maintenance.
- Participate in emergency preparedness, electrical safety, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Follow applicable electrical safety standards and company EHS requirements.

- Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records.
- Follow approved SOPs and controlled procedures.
- Ensure maintenance activities do not adversely affect laboratory studies or test facilities.
- Report equipment failures, deviations, and abnormalities through the appropriate system.
- Support qualification/validation activities related to electrical and utility systems, wherever applicable.
- Ensure documentation is completed contemporaneously and is properly reviewed/approved
