Role & responsibilities :-

Platform Discovery & Product Definition

- Own the discovery cycle for new capabilities across our RCM platform suite from user research through signed-off functional specs.
- Conduct deep-dive sessions with AR Analysts and Medical Coders to uncover workflow inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
- Define and own the Functional Requirements Specification (FRS) for each sprint, feature set, and integration milestone.
- Design end-to-end workflow maps that span operations platform payer back to operations; flag gaps for engineering and leadership. Represent the product in backlog refinement and sprint planning not just as a note-taker, but as the functional decision-maker.
- Document AI explainability requirements in a manner that satisfies audit, quality, and end-user trust considerations.

Agile Delivery Ownership

- Serve as the primary BA-side interface with the Scrum Master and Program Manager across active sprints.
- Own and groom the product backlog in Azure DevOps authoring well-formed user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and definition of done. Lead UAT planning, coordinate testers from the operations team, and sign off on features before they go to production.
- Drive release planning notes, change communication, and go-live readiness checklists.
- Mentor the Junior BA on requirements quality, backlog hygiene, and operational engagement.

Data-Driven Analysis & RCM Performance

- Write and interpret intermediate-to-complex SQL queries across the platform's data layer AR aging views, production output tables, coding accuracy aggregates, denial pattern analysis.
- Build reporting logic for AR management dashboards and payment integrity trend reports aligned to operational and leadership needs.
- Identify automation candidates through data payer-level patterns, procedure code frequency, claim value bands and surface them as structured business cases.
- Participate in data validation exercises when recent payer EDI files, ERA feeds, or client datasets are loaded.





Client & Stakeholder Engagement

- Support presales and demo preparation help craft platform narratives, demo scripts, and walkthroughs for prospective clients.
- Participate in client onboarding discovery sessions to map client RCM workflows onto RevHC's platform capabilities.
- Prepare executive-level summaries of feature roadmaps, delivery milestones, and transformation outcomes for leadership and clients.
- Act as the functional point of contact for client-raised issues that require product investigation and response.

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

- 9+ years of BA experience in US Healthcare RCM billing, claims, AR, denials, and/or coding environments.
- Deep functional understanding of EDI X12 transaction sets: 837P/I, 835, 270/271, 276/277.
- Demonstrated ability to write production-grade user stories, FRS documents, and acceptance criteria not templates, actual output.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements in the context of PHI data flows and claim processing.
- Strong SQL proficiency must be comfortable writing queries independently, not just running provided scripts.
- Agile delivery experience has owned a backlog, has run UAT cycles, has participated in sprint ceremonies as the product-side voice.
- Excellent written English specifications, status updates, and client-facing documents must be client-ready without heavy revision.

STRONG DIFFERENTIATORS

- Prior experience in a healthcare IT product company (not just services) you understand release cycles, product debt, and roadmap tradeoffs. • Hands-on exposure to Clearinghouse integrations Stedi, Change Healthcare, Availity, or equivalent.
- Experience defining AI/ML-assisted product features you have thought through confidence scores, human overrides, feedback loops, and audit trails.
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and medical coding quality review workflows in a technology-enabled environment.
- Any experience with payment integrity auditing, underpayment detection, or contract variance analysis.
