Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and maintain operational applications in Palantir Foundry using Workshop, Ontology-backed objects, actions, functions and workflows.
- Collaborate with business users, product owners, data engineers, AI engineers and platform teams to translate requirements into intuitive user-facing applications.
- Develop application experiences enabling users to search, review, analyze, update and act on Ontology objects such as customers, assets, orders, cases and events.
- Configure Workshop modules, including object views, forms, tables, charts, filters, layouts, navigation flows and reusable components to streamline business workflows.
- Implement writeback patterns with Ontology Actions, approvals, validations and user input flows while ensuring governance and auditability.
- Develop and integrate Foundry Functions, APIs, and application logic to support low-latency workflows, business rules and operational decision-making.
- Partner with data engineering teams to ensure applications rely on reliable datasets, well-modeled Ontology objects and high-quality source data.
- Support application testing phases, defect resolution, deployment readiness, documentation and promote user adoption.
- Troubleshoot issues related to application behavior, data access, performance, permissions and workflow blockers in production environments.
- Apply design thinking and user feedback to enhance usability, workflow efficiency, accessibility, and deliver measurable business value, while maintaining thorough documentation and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's & Master's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals including datasets, data quality, data modeling, access controls, lineage and dependency management.
- Experience with Palantir AIP and AI-enabled operational workflows, including chatbots and applications leveraging LLM outputs within governed environments.
- Proficiency in user experience design, rapid prototyping, usability testing, stakeholder demos and iterative feedback incorporation.
- Knowledge of role-based access control, governance, privacy, auditability, approval workflows and compliance in regulated enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Git-based delivery, automated testing, monitoring, incident resolution and change management for production applications.
- Relevant certifications or training in Palantir Foundry, Application Development, Ontology, AIP, cloud platforms, or software engineering practices, combined with solid stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
