Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Consultant with proven experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments to support functional validation of migrated VIM documents. The consultant will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and compliance of migrated business document attachments post-migration from legacy storage systems to OpenText Core Archive, integrated with SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:
Migration Validation & Support

- Validate migrated VIM documents from legacy storage (eg, SAP Content Server, IXOS) to OpenText Core Archive
- Perform functional testing to ensure documents are correctly linked to SAP transactions (eg, MIRO, FB03, ME23N)
- Verify metadata accuracy and document accessibility via SAP GUI and Fiori apps
- Support reconciliation of document counts and types between ECC and S/4HANA systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document retrieval, indexing, and archiving

Functional Expertise

- Understand VIM workflows including invoice capture, validation, exception handling, and approvals
- Validate business rules and document flow in VIM post-migration
- Support business users in UAT and provide training/documentation as needed

Project Collaboration

- Work closely with migration teams, SAP functional consultants (FI/MM), and OpenText specialists
- Participate in migration planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live support
- Document validation results, issues, and resolutions for audit and compliance purposes

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in OpenText VIM in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments




- Experience with data migration projects, especially involving unstructured content
- Familiarity with SAP FI/MM modules and related document flows
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, UAT, and issue resolution
- Knowledge of Fiori apps, SAP GUI, and OpenText Viewer
- OpenText VIM Certification (eg, OpenText Certified VIM Consultant)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with OpenText Extended ECM, Document Presentment, or Content Server
- Robust understanding of SAP ArchiveLink, OpenText Core Archive, and document management principles
- Exposure to cloud-based archiving and compliance frameworks (eg, GDPR)
- Experience in Consumer Products or similar industries with high document volumes

Optional but beneficial certifications:

- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting
- SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4HANA for Procurement
- SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP S/4HANA System Administration
- OpenText Archive Server or Core Archive certification
- ITIL Foundation (for process and change management alignment)
