Responsibilities

- We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant responsible for the administration, installation, configuration, and support of SAP landscapes. The role includes system monitoring, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and ensuring high availability of SAP systems.
- SAP System Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager)
- Manage SAP landscape environments (DEV, QA, PROD)
- Perform client administration (creation, copy, deletion)
- Maintain system parameters and profiles
- Installation, Upgrade Migration
- Perform: SAP installations (ABAP / JAVA stack)
- System upgrades and enhancement packs
- Kernel upgrades and patching
- Assist in SAP migrations (on-premise to cloud / S/4HANA conversions)
- Performance Monitoring Tuning
- Monitor system performance using: ST02, ST03N, ST04, SM50, SM66
- Analyze and optimize: Work processes
- Memory parameters
- Database performance
- Resolve system bottlenecks and improve efficiency
- Transport Management
- Manage Transport Management System (TMS)
- Handle: Transport routes configuration




- Import/export of transports
- Troubleshoot transport-related issues
- User Administration Security
- Manage: User creation and authorization (basic level)
- Roles and profiles (coordination with security team)
- Ensure compliance with security policies
- Backup Disaster Recovery
- Plan and execute:
- System backups
- Restore activities
- Configure and test Disaster Recovery (DR) processes
- Ensure system availability and business continuity
- Monitoring Production Support
- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP Basis issues
- Monitor system health: Background jobs (SM37)
- Dumps (ST22)
- Logs (SM21)
- Perform incident management, RCA, and SLA adherence
- Database Administration Support
- Work with databases: HANA / Oracle / SQL Server / DB2
- Perform: Database monitoring
- Space management
- Performance tuning (basic to intermediate)
- SAP HANA Administration (Preferred)
- Monitor and support SAP HANA systems
- Perform: HANA upgrades and patching
- Backup and recovery
- Performance analysis
